Mikki & Norm with Mikki's first Standard
Our son, Mikki, is one talented builder. I guess the apple doesn't
fall that far from the tree. Consider yourself lucky if you get one of
his guitars. Eric did -see below and take a listen...
This version of Over the Rainbow was recorded at Desert Vista
Studios. See below for more information.
Eric Johnson, owner
Desert Vista Recording Studio
Eric, owner of
Desert Vista Studios, chose our son, Mikki's, first guitar for his
studio's standard recording instrument. This is a great testimony both
to Mikki and to The Standard's design.
(In this testimonial, Eric refers to the guitar as a Prickly Pear.
We have since changed the name to The Standard. The guitar he uses in his
studio is a small jumbo. )

guitar.
Of course, all of Norm's guitars are wonderful for recording
(listen to our
Lovin' Haight Guitars CD), but if you would like a great guitar for
recording purposes at a lower price, Mikki will be
happy to build one for you, or you can get one through
Dream Guitars. This is how
Mikki pays for college.

way to get a quality Haight Guitar.
